The course is suitable and recommended for those employees nominated with specific fire safety responsibilities in the workplace, particularly with regard to general fire safety, emergency fire procedures and building evacuation.

How will the participants be assessed?

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment, there is no formal examination. Those delegates who complete the course, and are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

When will participants have to attend?

The Fire Marshal / Fire Warden course is 3 hours duration and can be carried out at the client’s premises, our premises or an external venue by prior arrangement.

What will participants do on the course?

Participants will receive an in-depth theoretical knowledge and given the opportunity to undertake practical fire fighting on various fire simulations.

What will the participants gain from this course?

Participants will gain an awareness of basic fire safety principles to be applied in the workplace and the understanding of the role and responsibilities of the company Fire Warden / Fire Marshal. This will enable them to effectively contribute to the overall management of fire safety for the premises.The courses are delivered by qualified trainers with extensive experience as Fire Safety Enforcement Officers within the Fire Service. This experience enables participants to gain a practical understanding of common fire related problems within the commercial premises and the best methods of dealing with them.All courses are certified and comply with Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005.
